PVC Process
In the final stage of the integrated chemical production chain, Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) is converted into Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) resin through a polymerization reaction. ASC utilizes advanced suspension polymerization technology to ensure consistent resin particle size, high purity, and superior processing qualities.
During the suspension polymerization process, liquid VCM is dispersed as tiny droplets in water using dispersing agents and agitation inside large-scale stainless steel polymerization reactors. An initiator is added to induce the polymerization reaction under controlled temperature and pressure.

Once polymerization is complete, the resulting PVC slurry undergoes a stripping process to recover any unreacted VCM monomer, which is then recycled back into the process. This guarantees strict environmental compliance and minimizes raw material losses.
Finally, the stripped PVC slurry is dewatered via centrifuges and thoroughly dried using hot air stream dryers. The resulting fine white PVC powder (resin) is screened, homogenized, and conveyed to storage silos ready for bulk shipment or packaging into bags.
