Celebrating ASC 34^th Anniversary with Gunung Sugih Society

 

As a routine agenda to celebrate company anniversary with surrounding society, on Sunday (03/09) PT Asahimas Chemical engage thousands of Gunung Sugih subdistrict residents in a series of activities. This event was attended by The Mayor of Cilegon, District Head of Ciwandan, Head Village of Gunung Sugih, as well as community leaders in the local area.

This celebration is intended to evoke birthday spirit and keep a good relation with local community. The agenda commenced with a ceremony in the ASC Factory with The Mayor of Cilegon and District Head of Ciwandan. During the ceremony, the Mayor mentioned a gratitude to ASC for carrying out various social activities and apprenticeship programs for the people in Cilegon area.

The event continued with walking together with marching bands and carnival groups from Gunung Sugih sub-district to the main venue, Pancapuri Field. For the side agenda, ASC launched Hydroponic and Aquaponic Green House to support the livelihood sustainability of Gunung Sugih Women Farmer Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani). Beside that program, ASC also create several fun games to entertain community, such as tug-of-war, karaoke, fishing, and parade competition. Dozens of door prizes was distributed for the people that participated. The prizes include television, washing machines, fans, electric bicycles, and motorbikes as the grand prizes.
